About

Me on a working holiday, Sept 2012

I am Lisa Rose, wife, mother to 4 and step-mother to 2, Client & Partner Relationship Manager for a software company. I’ve been blogging for the last five years about being gluten-free. I’m also a somewhat thwarted author with two and a bit unpublished romance novels to my name. As I’ve been writing about being gluten-free, I’ve been feeling a desire to talk about my family life more – what I have learned, mistakes I have made, humorous anecdotes about my children for which they will no doubt need therapy later in life. You get the drift. I’ll talk more about myself as we go, but for now, my children are a girl, aged 20, a boy and a girl of 18 (not twins, but that’s a little complicated!), a boy of 16 and twin boys of 10. I was involved with our school Board of Trustees for 12 years, the local Multiple Birth Club as newsletter editor and President, have managed and coached various sports teams and served my children baked beans on toast for dinner more than once. I find that life works better if I apply a humour filter and firmly believe that positivity is a vital component of life. I like to choose happy.

  1. Hi! Found you through Multiple Mummy. Really looking forward to getting to know you and your family more via your blog. I have a blog over at Mum of Twins, a Toddler and a Teenager (http://mumoftwinsatoddlerandateenager.blogspot.com.au/). I have a page called Twinmania and would love to add your blog to my Twin Blog Roll, if you’re interested.

    • Hi Amie, and thanks! I will certainly check your blog out, and would be honoured to me on your blog roll! Thanks for the offer.

  2. Yes, life works so much better with a humour filter and a positive attitude 🙂
